The first important factor to produce a quality layer chick, is the choice of breeder farms off course. Verbeek has chosen to work with family run farms, spread over the country in area's with a low poultry density. The special veterinarian programs and regular testing result in a high health status of the breeder flocks.
In the hatchery care is taken to maintain the disease freedom of the hatching eggs and day old chicks. In this way Verbeek's hatchery is maintaining a high health and quality standard throughout its production chain. Our chicks are vaccinated with Marek Rispens + HVT and IBMA 5 to prevent diseases. We deliver our customers a quality hatching egg or a healthy day old layer chick.
Apart from this, Verbeek is offering advice on veterinarian issues, poultry nutrition during rearing and laying period, poultry husbandry and poultrymanagement.
